What is Mudra Bank ?

Pradhan Mantri Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency Bank is full name of this Yojana.Mudra Bank Yojana was announced by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in his 2015-16 Budget speech and was launched by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 8 April, 2015 with  Rs 20,000 crore .This scheme is for every people who want to start their business.Mudra bank provide loan up to 10 lakh for small business.

How to apply for bank Loan under Mudra Bank Yojana ?

Pradhan Mantri Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency Bank (Mudra Bank) is new institution which was set up by the Government of India for delevopment and providing funds to small business.Mudra Bank also provide refinancing services.
To apply for Bank Loan you must have business plan which you have to give to your nearest Bank on demand .As per the norms you can apply for three type of Bank loan according to your need.

What kind of bank Loan offered under Mudra Bank Yojana ?

Mudra Bank Yojana is an initiative of the Government of India offering refinancing services.The main aim of this yojana is to provide Bank loan up to 10 lank to small entrepreneur.There are three type of Bank loan offered under Mudra Bank Yojana.These Bank Loan are :


  1. Shishu category : This Bank loan is for those who are in their early or starting stage of business covering upto 50,000 as loan amount.
  2. Kishor category : This Bank loan is for those who have set up their business and need money for growing business. This Bank Loan named "Kishor" will give cover upto 50,000 to 5 lakh.

List of Indian Prime ministers from 1947 to till present

After getting independence from British  Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru of the Indian National Congress became the first Prime Minister of  India.Till date India has seen 15 Prime Minister including Narendra Modi .Gulzarilal Nanda  who was  the first Interim Prime Minister of India is also considered as Prime Minister and counted as in list of Prime Minister of India.The List of 14 Former Prime Minister are given below.At present Narendra Modi of the Bhartiya janta Party is 15th Prime Minister of India.Narendra Modi assumed the Prime Minister Office on 26th May 2014. 




Jawaharlal Nehru (15th Aug 1947 – 27th May 1964 )

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru is the first Prime Minister of independent India.He held the Prime Minister Office (PMO) for 16 years, 286 days from 15th Aug 1947 – 27th May 1964 .  He was a social reformer and one of the Founder-Member of the Indian National Congress. He was born in Allahabad on 14th November 1889 and died on 27th May 1964.


Gulzarilal Nanda (27th May 1964 To 9th June 1964 )

Gulzarilal Nanda  became the first Interim Prime Minister of India from 27th May 1964 to 9th June 1964 after the death first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru .He held the PMO for 14 days until Lal Bahadur Shastri became the Second Prime Minister of India.
Gulzarilal Nanda also became the second Interim Prime Minister of India after death of second Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri for 14 days.He was the Interim Prime Minister of India from 11th January 1966 to 24th January 1966 until Indira Gandhi became the Third Prime Minister of India.He was born in Sialkot(Presently in Pakistan) on 4th July 1898 and died on January 15, 1998.


Lal Bahadur Shastri (9th June 1964 To 11th January 1966)

Lal Bahadur Shastri was the Second Prime Minister of India. He held the PMO for 1 year and 7 month from 9th June 1964 to 11th January 1966. He was born in Moghalsarai, Varanasi on 2nd October 1904 and died on 11th January 1966.He while negotiating peace talks on behalf of India with Pakistan died at Tashkent in USSR.


Indira Gandhi (24th January 1966 to 24th March 1977 )

Indira Gandhi was the first lady Prime Minister of India.He held the PMO for first tenure from 24th January 1966 to 24th March 1977 and for second tenure from 14th January 1980 to 31st October 1984. She was the world’s longest serving woman Prime Minister.She was the only  daughter of first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. She served as Prime Minister of India for 15 year. She was was born in Allahabad on 19th November 1917 and  died on 31st October 1984. She was shot dead by her own security guards.


Morarji Desai ( 24th March 1977 to 28th July 1979 )

Morarji Desai of Janata Party Government was the first Non-congress and the Fourth Prime Minister of India.He held the PMO for 2 year and 4 months from 24th March 1977 to 28th July 1979.He was born on 29th February 1896 at Gujarat and died on 10th April 1995.


Charan Singh (28th July 1979 to 14th January 1980 )

Charan Singh of Janata Party (Secular) was the Fifth Prime Minister of India.He held the PMO for 170 days  from 28th July 1979 to14th January 1980.He was born on 23rd December 1902 at Meerut and died in 1987.


Indira Gandhi (14th January 1980 to 31st October 1984)

Indira Gandhi  of INC became the Prime Minister of India for the second time.He for second time held PMO from 14th January 1980 to 31st October 1984. 


Rajiv Gandhi (31st October 1984 To 1st December 1989 )

Rajiv Gandhi , the son of Indira Gandhi, was the  Sixth Prime Minister of India.He held the PMO  for 5 year and 30 days from 31st October 1984 to 1st December 1989.He was  the youngest Prime Minister of India .He was born at Mumbai on 20th August 1944 and died on 21st May 1991 at Sriperumpudur in Tamilnadu.

V.P.Singh (2nd December 1989 To 10th November 1990 )

Viswanath Prataph Singh or V.P.Singh of the Janata Dal Government became the  Seventh Prime Minister of India.He held the PMO for 11 months from 2nd December 1989 to 10th November 1990.He was born on 25th June 1931 and died  on 27th November 2008.


Chandra Shekhar (10th November 1990 To 21st June 1991)

Chandra Shekhar was the Eighth Prime Minister of India.He held the PMO for 7 month  from 10th November 1990 to 21st June 1991.He was born on 1st July 1927 in Ballia District, Uttar Pradesh and died on 8th July 2007.


P. V. Narasimha Rao ( 21st June 1991 To 16th May 1996 )

P.V.Narasimha Rao was the first Prime Minister from South India and the Ninth Prime Minister of India.He held the PMO for 4 years and 11 month from 21st June 1991 to 16th May 1996. He was  born in Vangara, Andhra Pradesh, on 28th June 1921 and died on 23rd December 2004.


Atal Bihari Vajpayee (1996 , 1998 -1999 and 1999 - 2004 )

Atal Bihari  Vajpayee was the Tenth Prime Minister of India.He held the PMO for first tenure  from 16th May 1996 to  16th May 1996 , for second tenure from  19th March 1998 to 13th October 1999 and third tenure from 13th October 1999 to 22nd May 2004. He served as Prime Minister of India for 5 year and 3 months.He was born on 25th December 1924 at  Gwalior.


H.D.Deve Gowda (1st June 1996 To 21st April 1997 )

Haradanahalli Doddegowda Deve Gowda was  the Eleventh Prime Minister of India.He held the PMO for 10 months from 1st June 1996 to 21st April 1997.He was born on 18th May 1933 Hassan district, Karnataka.


Dr.Inder Kumar Gujral (21st April 1997 To 19th March 1998 )

Dr.I.K.Gujral of the Janata Dal Government was the 12th  Prime Minister of IndiaHe held the PMO for 11 months from 21st April 1997 to 19th March 1998. He was born on 4th December 1919 in Jhelum (presently in Pakistan) and died on 30th November 2012.


Dr.Manmohan Singh ( 22nd May 2004 Till 26th May 2014 )

Dr.Manmohan Singh of the Indian National Congress is the 13th Prime Minister of India.He held the PMO for 10 year and 2 months from 22nd May 2004. He was born on 26th September 1932, at Gah (presently with Pakistan).

9 Function of National Skill Development Agency

The National Skill Development Agency (NSDA) is an independent body of Government of India which come under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.The NSDA not only organize the skill development programme of the Indian Government but also manage the private sectors so that they can also achieve target of the Government of India set for the 12th Plan.



What is National Skill Development ?


The NSDA was launched through a gazette notification on 6 June 2013. The National Skill Development programme of India is sum of the Prime Minister’s National Council on Skill Development (PMNCSD) and the National Skill Development Coordination Board (NSDCB). The Government of India launched NSDA to connect the Social, gender, economic and regional divide by checking the skill which most deprived class or categories like SC's, ST's, OBC's, minorities and women needs to enhance their skill for making living for themself and taking part in Indian Economic by increasing GDP of India.This scheme is not only for minorities but NSDA has also some skill development programme which physically challenge people can learn.

The Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana or Scheme is also know as PMGSY which is a national wide programme of Indian Government to provide a all-weather road connectivity to unconnected villages of India. The PMGSY is Centrally Sponsored Scheme of India introduced by the Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 2000.

The Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) was introduced to connect the people of India who are living in area or village where there is no sadak or road which they can use for moving one place to another. Thus Indian Government planned to make road or sadak for those unconnected area and for those people living in villages which are not connected to other area so that they can move easily and connect with other villages, cities and states.

1. What is Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) ?


The Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana is called as PMGSY was launched by the then Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Shri Prabhjot on 25th December 2000. This PMGSY scheme is centrally sponsored programme that was introduced to provide road connectivity to  unconnected habitations of the country. To provide roads , Central Government is providing 100%  financial assistance for PMGSY.

2. What is the primary objective of PMGSY?


The Primary objective of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana is to provide all-weather road connectivity to the eligible habitations who are not connected to other villages, cities and state by " sadak " . This PMGSY scheme will provide connecvtivity by way of road to villages or areas with population of more than 500 persons according to census 2001.



3. How are habitations selected for coverage in the PMGSY ? 


The PMGSY will cover villages on basis of list made in 2001 census and also on funds given to state for the road construction. The list of villages where road is to be build will be made each year by the District Panchayat of concerned state.



4. What does all-weather connectivity mean? 


The PMGSY is a centrally sponsored programme of Government of India to provide all-weather road connectivity, which will be negotiable in all seasion of the year, to every village .



5. Whether compensation for land acquisition is paid in the programme?

Building roads for any villages and district is the responsibility of State Government and District Panchayat. State has to provide land for construction of sadaks under the PMGSY scheme. If the land is aquired from anyone for the construction of roads under PMGSY then State Government is required to pay compensation to that indiviual whose land is aquired by State Governemnt.

7. What is PMGSY-II ?


PMGSY-2 is also a part of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Programme in which the primary ojective of scheme is to consolodate rural (village) road by updgrading the existing rural roads. In the PMGSY-2 consolidation of roads will be selected on basis of economic potential of village. The Central Government of India has approved the target of upgrading 50,000 km roads for all states and Union territory. 9. What is OMMS ? How does it works ?


Government launched PMGSY with OMMS that is an Online Management and Monitering system to tracks targets and monitor progress of PMGSY scheme. OMMS is one of the biggest database in India developed by e-government department of C-DAC pune. C-DAC desgined the OMMS system in way that it can manage and monitor all of the information of road developments.OMMS not only tracks targets and manage road development information it also tracks the expense made on constucting every single road in India.   


10 How can you see PMGSY progress in OMMS ?



Government developed an Online Management and Monitoring System or OMMS to tracks targets and manage infromation of road developments. OMMS manages the PMGSY information in details in OMMS database which any one can access via website www.omms.nic.in . The OMMS makes collected PMGSY information by state and district officers which you can see in citizen option of website.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 20 september 2015 did his 12 the edition of  Mann ki Baat.Since becoming Prime Minister , Modi  has been doing live talk with People of India on single plateform which is accessible to every citizen. In Mann ki Baat programme PM Modi discuss his view or idea and gets feedbacks or suggestions from the people of India.The PM Modi choose Radio as single plateform because it is only place where every one can reach or listen their PM.  




12th edition of  Mann ki Baat

PM modi in his last Mann ki Baat programme urged the Peoples to records their voice for next Programme.Just like In every edition of Mann ki  Baat PM Modi has discussed several issue , PM Modi addressed so many issue including giving up of LPG subsidy , Promotion of Khadi , Swacch Bharat Abhiyan , Paying tribute to soldiers.


EC rejected plea of leader and let PM Modi to address the nation

Some leaders including Congress and others  objected to Mann ki Baat programme.They alleged that PM Modi in his 12th edition of Mann ki Baat  could influence voters for the Bihar elections. But Election commision rejected plea of leader and let PM Modi  to address the peoples on All India Radio Programme.


PM Modi during the programme :


  • He told the nation that during his visit to Kolkata ,he met with Subhash Chandra Bose's family members. He said he spend some time with them.He confirmed that family members  of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose will visit Prime MInister s residence , 7 Race Course Road.
  • He emphasised that it is very important for every people of the nation to register as voters.He also patted the Election Commission for their efforts to create awareness among the voters about their rights.The PM  modi said creating awareness is not only a task of Election commision every citizen should do their duty to Nation and contribute in Eelection Commision's campaigne of creating awareness among voters. He also remarked his slogan first vote, then eat .
  • PM Modi said Radio is a great medium for communication. he had also been using Radio r to reach out to people through 'Mann Ki Baat' . He added that  Mann Ki Baat had become 'Aap Ki Baat'.He also mentioned that  Subhash Chandra Bose is first one who had set up radio in Germany. He added " Bose would communicate through Radio in various languages.
  • PM Modi again urged people to buy at least one Khadi clothing as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and to encourage the industry.
  • The child who spoke about the 'Swacch Bharat' campaign , asked for dustbins in every way of the country. PM Modi replied and said that cleanliness should be made a habit.He also expressed happiness and said now Cleanliness not only confined to the street it is now also discussed from parliament.He said  Swacch Bharat  campaign will have to move forward to make India a clean country by 2019.
  • The Prime Minister Narendra Modi also mentioned his visit to a defence exhibition few days ago.He said that he met with those people who had participated in the war.He said it is important to understand the history  to create new new history. If the connection of understanding history and creating new history breaks then no one can make new hisorty.   
  • PM Modi said 30 lakh people have given it up for LPG subsidy after his 'give-up' call.
