Complete List of Chief Ministers of India

Who is the Chief Minister of India : India has 29 states and seven Union territories, only 11 states and one UT, each has chief minister which gets elected after State Assembly Election. So, we decided to make list of CM of India.
 

In this list, we will share from the first chief minister of India to last chief minister of India. We will also be updating list of chief minister of India.
 

Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Delhi have had two women chief ministers. Haryana and Himachal Pradesh are yet to have a woman chief minister.

Make in India

The Make in India is the flagship campaign of present BJP led NDA Government of India aimed to boost the India's manufacturing industry and attract foreign investors to invest into the Indian economy. The Indian Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi announced " Make in India " in his Independence Day address from the ramparts of the Red. After one month of Independence Day address " Make in India campaign " was launched by PM Modi on September 25, 2014 at the Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi. The campaign was dedicated by the Prime Minister to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya who was born on the same date in 1916.The logo for the Make In India campaign is inspired by the Ashoka Chakra.


Make in India : Vision


The Make in India's aim is to grow  the India's domestic manufacturing industry so that Government of India can generate Jobs and transform India into  a manufacturing hub.The Make in India campaign is also  intended to attract more foreign direct investment (FDI) or foreign investors to invest into the Indian economy.

India has large numbers of skilled or unskilled labour which are easily available .India also has rich natural resources.The PM Modi  launched Make in India campaign to boost the Indian economy , by utilizing these natural resources and generating Jobs for skilled or unskilled labour , and to make India a manufacturing hub. 


Make in India :  Important Sectors 


The PM Modi had called all the entrepreneurs and the corporates or investors and asked them to invest in the India with foreign direct investment (FDI) or asked Indian entrepreneurs to develop or invest in India .The PM Modi also promised that he and his Government would aid Investors in developing India.

The government of India has identified 25 priority sectors where the foreign direct investment is the highest. In these 25 sectors , investment shall be promoted by the government of India.The PM Modi had said that the development of these sectors is important to India as these sectors attracts highest FDI in India.

Here is list of these 25 sectors where Government of India want investors to invest in India. 
Automobiles , Electrical Machinery , Food Processing ,Renewable Energy, Biotechnology,Media and Entertainment,Textiles and garments,Automobile Components,IT and BPM,Roads and highways,Aviation,Leather,Thermal Tourism and Hospitality,Ports,Electronic,Power,Space,Construction,Oil and Gas,Systems,Railways,Pharmaceuticals,Chemicals,Mining,Defence,manufacturing,Wellness.


Make in India : Help Invsetors


To provide information regarding Investment or to help investors , the government of India also launched a website of "Make in India campaign " highlighting all the 25 sectors and Information like statistics of sectors ,growth of sectors and  all policies regarding investments in thses 25 sectors etc.

Top Programms launched by Narendra Modi in 2014

Since Narendra modi assumed the Prime Minister Office on May 26 , 2014 he with his cabinet took the certain important decisions for the welfare of the country and initiated many programms. Some of these programmes are :

Digital India


With goal of Connecting the people of India and all Government departments electronically , On August 21, 2014, the “Digital India” campaign was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In Narendra Modi's vision " Digital India " he want to provide all the Government services to the people electronically by reducing paperwork. In Digital India Programme Narendra Modi or the Government of India  also want to connect all village and rural area through High speed Internet network. Three core component of Digital India programme : Digital infrastructure , digitally literacy , digital delivery of services. Digital India Programme will take 5 year to complete by year 2019.

Digital India Week was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in June 2015.The aim of Digital India programme are : Broadband Highways , Universal Access to Phones , Public Internet Access Programme ,e-Governance , e-Kranti , Electronics Manufacturing , IT for Jobs , Early Harvest Programmes.

Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana


The Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana , National Mission, was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 28 , 2014 . This programme was announced by Narendra Modi on his first Independence Day speech on 15 August 2014. It is Financial Inclusion programme to provide acces to financial service or banking services in an affordable manner. Under the PRADHAN MANTRI JAN DHAN YOJANA , on the inauguration day , 15 million bank accounts were opened. Any one can open bank account with zero balance under these programme. By September 3.02 crore accounts were opened. On Jan 20 ,2015 account opened under these programme set the world record of account opened in one week.

Make in India


Make in India is an initiative program of the Government of India was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 25 September 2014. The main goal of MAKE IN INDIA is to appeal the global world to invest and manufacture their prioduct in India which in future helps growing India's GDP. The major aim of Make in India is to create jobs and enhance skill of workers empolyed in 25 sector of economy. Some of these sectors are  automobiles , chemicals, IT, pharmaceuticals, textiles, ports, aviation, leather, tourism and hospitality, wellness, railways, auto components, design manufacturing, renewable energy, mining, bio-technology, and electronics. Before lauching of MAKE IN INDIA programme several steps has been taken by the Cabinet of India in August 2014 .

Cabinet of India allowed 49% foreign direct investment (FDI) in the defence sector which earlier was 26 % , 100% in railways infrastructure which earlier was 0% , Space(74%) , Defence(49%) , News Media(26%) and 100 % in rest of sectors given above.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan


To make India clean by 2019 , Narendra Modi launched a national campaign that is SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN on October 2 , 2014 , the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan's earlier name was Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan. The plan of  Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is :
1. To construct toilet  for households below the poverty line and sanitation in all rural and remote areas.
2. To spread idea of cleanlineess among public eg : cleaning roads , streats and surrounding area .
3. To make people aware about benefit of healthy environment.

But the idea of SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN is not new. On 1 April 1999, the Government of India recreated the Comprehensive Rural Sanitation Programme and launched the Total Sanitation Campaign (TSC).

In June ,2003 , the Government of India launched Nirmal Gram Puraskar  as an award  for maintenance of a clean environment and open defecation-free panchayat villages , cleaning road and streets. And on 1 April ,2012 ,the Total Sanitation Campaign  was renamed to Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan (NBA)
.

Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana


On October 11, 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana .The aim of this programme is to bulid a Adarsh Gram or model village by  developing institutional infrastructure. Under this programme each MP will take resposiblity of developing three village by 2019. Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana (PMAGY) was formally launched by Union Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Mukul Wasnik in B.B village in Sri Ganganagar district of Rajasthan on 23 July 2010. In March 2012 the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana(PMAGY) was transferred from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment  to the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD).
